A love feast, dedicated to light and joy and brotherhood, GODSPELL is based on the Gospel
according to St. Matthew. Drawing from various theatrical traditions, such as clowning, pantomime, charades, acrobatics
and vaudeville, GODSPELL is a groundbreaking and unique reflection on the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness,
tolerance and love. The music and lyrics by Tony Award-winner Stephen Schwartz are remarkably eclectic, with shades
of rock, folk, gospel and Broadway. As the cast performs a string of well-loved songs, led by the international hit,
Day by Day, the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and hearteningly to life. Vibrant, hi-energy and fun for the
entire family… GODSPELL says, “Love thy neighbor” … and means it!
